YouGov: A Summary Of How Poll Affects Brexit

There are two blogposts arising from the YouGov poll recently published about people's reactions to Brexit producing a poorer economic outcome than it would have been.

In summary and conclusion:
  1. "YouGov and What The Results Mean For Brexit": Much less than 40% of people would tolerate a Brexit producing a worse economy
  2. "YouGov and Reasons Why People Voted To Leave"  Potentially over 80% of people would support a two-tier Europe, with UK maintaining the current economic relationship and free movement of people whilst otherwise leaving the EU
It is likely that this would also be how MPs would vote if there were to be a free vote.

Here is the proposal for a two-tier Europe, with the UK in an EEAplus.

The UK Government should understand this all and conduct the Brexit negotiations accordingly.

The new cross-party APPG has a major role to play.
